Delete your account and data
This page is for NuEraX, the live auction and live shopping app operated by GTLC FZE. You do not need an account or the app to use it.
There are two ways to delete your NuEraX account. Both delete the account permanently. We do not offer deactivation instead of deletion.
1. In the app
Open NuEraX, go to Profile, then Settings, then Delete account. You will be asked to confirm. The account is closed immediately and the data below is deleted within 30 days.
2. From this page
If you no longer have the app installed, send us a deletion request. Use the email address on the account so we can confirm the request is yours. If you cannot, tell us your username and we will verify your identity another way before deleting anything.

This opens your email app with the request filled in. If it does not, email info@nuerax.io with the subject "Account deletion request".
What we delete
Within 30 days of your request we permanently delete:
- Your name, username, email address, mobile number, password and profile photo.
- Your saved delivery addresses.
- Your saved payment methods, which are removed from Stripe.
- Your following list, reminders, searches, viewing history and notification settings.
- Your chat messages, reviews and giveaway entries.
- Your listings and listing photos, if you sold on NuEraX.
- Your device identifiers and push notification tokens.
- Your marketing preferences, and your email address is removed from our mailing lists.
What we keep, and why
A small amount of information is kept because the law requires it or because a permanent record is needed for other people's transactions. Where we keep it, your identity is detached from it: your username is replaced with an anonymous reference.

Before you delete
- Finish your open orders. Deletion does not cancel an order you have paid for or an item you have sold and not yet dispatched.
- Any money owed to you stays yours. If you are a seller with an unpaid balance, it is held, not forfeited. Once open orders and disputes are settled, we pay it out to you. Tell us in your request so we can arrange it.
- Deletion is permanent. The account cannot be restored and the username may become available to someone else.
How long it takes
We confirm your request within 5 days and complete the deletion within 30 days. If we need to verify who you are first, the 30 days starts when we have verified you. We will tell you when it is done.
